Clear and fast at Monmouth with another impossible handicapping card.  Since they went to a three day week, Monmouth has captured this handicapper’s heart with great cards and exciting racing — I’ll try to do better on the win end today as Saturday’s top picks ran second several times, but if you played up and down, you hit some nice exactas.

In race 8, a very contentious turf claimer with lots of reliable runners, B B Frank (#2) can get good position in a field lacking lots of speed runners and finish the job today at a good price.  I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3′s and playing an exacta box with Storming Off (#7) and Zappa (#1).

In race 4, Air Lord (#5) may be the safest bet all day and should beat bottom level claimers at a short price. I’m singling in all doubles and pick 3′s and playing an exacta box with You Better Believe (#13).

Fast and firm at Monmouth with another competitive Saturday card to be run in very hot conditions.  Starting to get excited about Saratoga next week, but I will try and keep my focus on picking some winners today!

In race 6, Upgrade (#5) has burned some money in last 4 starts but has run well and firgures to sit the perfect stalking trip at another short price — I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3′s and playing an exacta box with Grand Pride (#2).

In race 12, Jersey Brother (#7) just missed in last start at this distance and goes 3rd off the layoff — ready to get the job done today.  I’m keying in the late pick 3 and pick 4 and playing an exacta box with Score the Gold (#9) and Hello Handsome (#10).

In race 10, Almoradi (#2) gets the blinkers on for Biancone, whose turf horses have been firing on all cylinders at the Monmouth.  I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3′s and playing an exacta box with Best Actor (#1).  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Fast and firm at Monmouth with a very challenging card on tap for Sunday.  Didn’t have a great win day yesterday, but one of my best bets did win at almost 4-1 and did list a nice pick 3 from races 8-10.  I’ll try to do better today.

In race 4, Remember Shirley (#6) gets a blistering pace to close into and can turn the tables on Aunt Mabel (#11).  I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3′s and playing an exacta box with Mabel and Gia Nina (#12).
