It’s “War” At Churchill (6/6)

Jun 6th, 2010 | By mircon1 | Category: Churchill, Today’s Picks

Fast and firm at Churchill, but there are storms in the forecast so please check track conditions throughout the day.  All my picks will assume races stay on the turf!

In race 6, Warshaw (#3) has a good second at the mile distance at this track and Lenclud rides back — I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Mr. Realistic (#8).

In race 5, Geniver (#6) gets a much easier pace scenario today and should wire them as the favorite — I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Yankee Player (#4).  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Race 1: 4 and 1A

Race 2: 2 and 3

Race 3: 3 and 4

Fast and firm on Mother’s Day at Churchill — happy Mother’s Day, mom!  Hope to keep the momentum going from Saturday’s card where I listed 8 winners in a row!

In race 6, Byrnwyck West (#7) returns to his favorite turf course with good connections and can wire the field if he shows his good speed.  I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Pointing Home (#6).

In race 10, Colizeo (#6) is in a good spot to wire these at 1 1/16 miles on the dirt — I’m keying in the late double and pick 3 and playing an exacta box with Berberis (#1).  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Race 3: 2 and 1

Race 4: 7 and 2

An Easy “Sell” At Churchill (5/8)

Fast and firm at Churchill with another challenging card on tap.  Let’s try and keep the momentum going from Thursday’s pick 6 where I listed the winner in the last 5 races, 3 on top, including the late pick 3 and pick 4!

In race 9. Selva (#5) has been facing better and can either set the pace or stalk at 5 furlongs on the turf — I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Knockout Bertie (#2) and Candy Cane (#8).

In race 6, Frontier Cat (#3) drops to a good spot and can run down the leaders late — I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Di’s Dr Schumocker (#4) and Shofar (#5).  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

The Derby Hangover Leads To A Big Pick 6 (5/6)

May 6th, 2010 | By mircon1 | Category: Churchill, Today’s Picks

George:

Just for fun, I did manage to handicap the pick 6 at Churchill.  It’s difficult, and I wasn’t able to limit picks to just 2 horses in each race.  Here are my picks:

Race 5: 3 and 6
Race 6: 5 and 2
Race 7: 6 and 3
Race 8: 8, 7 and 9
Race 9: 5 and 3
Race 10: 6, 12 and 10

I guess it would be a $288 investment for a $2 ticket.  Good luck!
