Trying To “Diversify” At Belmont (7/7/18)

Jul 7th, 2018 | By | Category: Belmont, Today's Picks

Fast and firm for a fantastic Saturday card — this is the kind of racing we expect in NY, so let’s see how I do today.

In race 9, the Grade 2 Suburban, Diversify (#10) is the absolute speed of this and can take these wire to wire at a decent price — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with #’s 2 and 4.

In race 6, The Grade 3 Dwyer, Firenze Fire (#7) needed break after Derby, cuts back to flat mile for hottest trainer on the planet and should be a decent price — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with #’s 4 and 3.  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Race 1: 6, 4 and 2

Race 2: 6 with 2 and 4

Race 3: 1, 8 and 6

Race 4: 6, 3 and 5

Putting My “Mark” At Belmont (7/4/18)

Jul 4th, 2018 | By | Category: Belmont, Today's Picks

Fast and firm for the July 4th card — another mediocre card for the time of year in NY, but I haven’t been handicapping well enough here, so let’s see if I can start to get hot leading up to the Saratoga meet.

In race 6, Markitoff (#2) gets class relief here and will be on or just off a soft pace here and should be able to hold off the closers on a very firm turf course — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with #’s 3 and 1.

In race 8, Amertume (#1) gets cozy inside post with a moderate pace expected and should be these home near the lead — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with #’s 4 and 3.  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Race 1: 4, 1 and 6

Race 2: 5 with 8 and 3

Race 3: 6, 4 and 2

Race 4: 7, 3 and 6

Race 5: 6, 7 and 5

Race 6: 2 (Best Bet) with 3 and 1

Race 7: 4, 2 and 1

Race 8: 1 (Best Bet) with 4 and 3

Race 9: 11 with 8 and 5

Jul 1st, 2018 | By | Category: Belmont, Today's Picks

Fast and firm for the Sunday card — only 2 winners on top yesterday with 3 exacta boxes and 1 tri box listed — still haven’t found my rhythm at the Belmont meet, so lets see how I do today.

In race 6, Blurred Lines (#9) fires every time and should get a cozy trip on or just off a slow pace and hold off the closers — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with #’s 10 and 6.

In race 5, Pop the Hood (#2) is a big price and may be the speed here second off the layoff — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play across the board.  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Race 1: 1, 3 and 2

Race 2: 6, 4 and 1

Race 3: 1, 3 and 5

Race 4: 5, 1 and 3

Race 5: 2 (Best Bet) with 5 and 3

Race 6: 9 (Best Bet) with 10 and 6

Race 7: 9, 8 and 7

Race 8: 4, 7 and 2

Race 9: 6, 11 and 4
