Sep 17th, 2017 | By | Category: Belmont, Today's Picks

Fast and firm for the Sunday card — not much to say about yesterday except let’s move on, so I gladly will.

In race 3, Nominal Dollars (#7) is too good a price to pass up and gets a wicked pace scenario to set up late run — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with #’s 8 and 4.

In race 9, Benevolence (#5) get blinkers from crafty trainer and loves the local course — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with #’s 7 and 1A.  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Race 2: 5, 1A and 7

Finding My “Calling” At Belmont (9/15/17)

Sep 16th, 2017 | By | Category: Belmont, Today's Picks

Fast and firm for the Saturday card — had a great opening weekend with a huge flat bet profit on win bets, rolling doubles and pick 3′s, pick 4′s and pick 5′s.  The only bet not profitable were the best bets on top and until they start winning again, I would use up and down and boxing with my two other choices.  A tough card to handicap today so let’s see how I do.

In race 7, Gio’s Calling (#9) cuts back, but there is a lot of speed here and the Brown runner will be heavliy bet, so the price will be right and the late kick fits the race flow — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with #’s 1 and 3.

In race 9, Inflexibility (#10) gets tough post, but can run all day and 3 turf races were great including a win on local sod– key in all late multi-race wagers and play an exacta box with #’s 9 and 8.  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Race 1: 2, 7 and 5

Race 2: 3, 4 and 1

Race 3: 4, 1 and 3

Race 4: 6, 1 and 3

Race 5: 8, 9 and 1

Race 6: 2 with 7 and 3

Race 7: 9 (Best Bet) with 1 and 3

Race 8: 4, 11 and 2

Race 9: 10 (Best Bet) with 9 and 8

Race 10: 7, 8 and 12

Betting On The “Sly” At Belmont (9/10/17)

Sep 10th, 2017 | By | Category: Belmont, Today's Picks

Fast and firm for the Sunday card — a great day yesterday with listing 5 doubles, 4 pick 3′s a $1681 pick 4 and a $7341 pick 5 along with 3 winners in top with a 90% ROI.  However, both best bets lost which isn’t great for my flat bet profit on those bets — but listed the $53.50 exacta in one of those races and my second choice in the other best bet race won at 5-1 which was part of that great pick 5!  My point is that the best bet races can be judged by more than the win % and for the Belmont meet I am tracking how many winners I list in those races and if I list the exacta box so we can assess the total impact of those best bet races.  In Saratoga, my win % was horrible in best bet races, but I listed the winner of those races 70% of the time and those exactas with my best bets running second were very profitable for the meet.  So, keep track and adjust your bets accordingly!  Another good betting card today so let’s see how I do!

In race 10, Sly Ranger(#9) stayed at Belmont instead of shipping to Saratoga and should be fresh for crafty turf trainer and run these down late at a decent price — key in all late multi-race wagers and play an exacta box with #’s 7 and 1.

In race 7, Rapscallion (#1) also stayed at Belmont during the Saratoga meet and loves the local surface and is poised to repeat with a big late run — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with #’s 7 and 12.  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Race 1: 4, 5 and 6

Race 2: 1, 11 and 2

Race 3: 1, 5 and 6

Race 4: 5 with 7 and 8

Race 5: 7, 8 and 5

Race 6: 4, 2 and 5

Race 7: 1 (Best Bet) with 11 and 12

Race 8: 3, 6 and 7

Race 9: 3, 7 and 6

Race 10: 9 (Best Bet) with 7 and 1

Fast and firm for the Saturday card and we are back at Belmont!  Love Saratoga, but want to turn the page quickly and get back on track.  Had a great Spring meet here and I feel good about today’s card, so let’s see how I do!

In race 9, Night Prowler (#9) might be the longer odds of the two Chad Browns and should sit close enough to a soft pace and run these down late!  Key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with #’s 4 and 11.

In race 5, Glory to Kitten (#8) ran too good to lose last time and is in great form — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with #’s 5 and 1.  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Race 1: 1 with 7 and 3

Race 2: 8, 4 and 10
