Fast and firm at Belmont on the last day of one of the worst meets in the history of the track and one of my worst handicapping meets ever!  I can’t wait for Saratoga and forget about how Belmont has become a secondary player to Monmouth over the last several weeks.

In race 5, Can’t Refuse (#1A) is 4/44 lifetime on turf but gets the perfect pace set up today and you can close on the widener turf at 7 furlongs.  The fact that entry mate Lemon Shore was scratched helps the price and adds to the appeal — I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Regal Prince (#8).

In race 6, Smokin Conrad (#7) is an absolute standout in this field and should be singled in all multi-race wagers. I’m also playing an exacta box with Mind Boggling (#1).  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Fast and firm with another typical card a Belmont — short fields and big favorites.  I can’t wait until Saratoga where at least if I lose, I enjoy the races.  Oh well, only two days left here and I will do my best to pick some winners.

In race 8, Conflicted (#2) goes second off the layoff and should get a perfect trip tracking a slow pace to get the money in this turf sprint — I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Key Victory (#8) and Mustang island (#9).

In race 9, Perfect Officer (#7) probably would prefer 7 furlongs on turf, but gets a good pace to run at and only lost to Formidable (#5) by a length in first race off a layoff at 5 furlongs at Gulfstream — taken to upset with a clean trip.  I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with the #5.  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Fast and firm at Belmont but the Sunday card is very uninspiring.  In a pretty bad mood after some of the worst rides in history that cost me a couple of winners on Saturday’s card — but today is another day.

In race 10, Lateday Edition (#9) has done little wrong in a brief career and should get the job done today for a hot trainer — I’m keying in the late double and pick 3 and playing an exacta box with Considerate (#3) and Bobity Boo (#11).

In race 1, Market Collaspe (#3) gets on the grass for the first time and drops back to a sprint for great connections — a great new fact in a race with some suspect short price choices.  I’m keying in the early double and pick 3 and playing an exacta box with Loyal Shadow (#4).  Here’s the entire card without the benefit of scratches so play accordingly.

In race 10, Dougie (#6) race a great race off a two year layoff and should wire these with the tightener under his belt.  I’m keying in the late double and pick 3 and playing an exacta box with Barrel of Love (#4).

In race 1, Dear Contender (#2) drops back to a turf sprint and gets lots of pace to run at — could score at a nice price if able to stay close enough early.  I’m keying in the double and pick 3 and playing an exacta box with Lights Out Lisa (#5) and Little Miss Julien (#6).  Here’s the entire card and good luck!
