Playing The “Double” At Belmont (10/18/14)

Oct 19th, 2014 | By | Category: Belmont, Today's Picks

Fast and good for the Sunday card — did have 4 winners on top yesterday, but they were short prices, so I will try and find some value today!

In race 2, Double Whammy (#8) goes off the Jacobson claim and gets a fast pace to set up late run on a turf course that may favor closers — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with #’s 4 and 10.

In race 9, North Slope (#3) could be the lone speed stretching out to 1 1/4 miles on turf and will be a decent price — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with 3′s 8 and 2.  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Race 1: 4 and 3

Race 2: 8 (Best Bet) with 4 and 10

Race 3: 4, 6 and 2

Fast and good for the Saturday card — a great showcase for NY Breds, so let’s see how I do today!

In race 7, The Empire Distaff, Princess Violet (#5) stretches out, but has great positional speed and should be on or just off an easy pace — key in all doubles and pick 3′s and play an exacta box with #’s 4 and 1A.  Here’s the entire card and good luck!
