Cloudy with a chance of a few showers at Monmouth with an incredible 14 race card on tap for Haskell Day.  The weather shouldn’t have much effect on the track conditions — but maybe a little rain could change my luck since I only had two winners on Saturday’s card and wasn’t close in many of the races.  But the same was true with my Saratoga picks on a day overall which felt like I was handicapping with Rod Serling in some horrible episode of the Twilight Zone.  Oh well, I really like this card today so let’s see what happens.  If you hear dodododo after the first race, turn off your tv set and run!

In race 5, Strong Commitment (#4) goes second off a layoff and had an excuse in comeback run on turf — I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Super Doc (#7) and Wild Entry  (#11).

In race 7, The Jersey Derby, Two Notch Road (#1) gets a cozy inside post and is the main speed — may be hard to catch in a good field on turf.  I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Fantastico Roberto (#6).

In race 4, Hung Jury (#7) gets a good pace to run at and is improving every start — I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Partyallnightlong (#4).

In race 10, Roaring Lion (#8) is in great form — right back with another winning performance.  I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Riley Tucker (#4) and Wildcat Brief (#2).  Here’s the entire card and good luck!
