Fast and firm at Gulfstream today with a very competitive card on tap.  Hope to do better than yesterday’s 0 for 10, but I did list 4 winners and had a nice double and pick 3 in races 7-9.

In race 6, Cliff Meadows (#11) can overcome an outside post by staying close to a soft pace at 1 1/8 miles on the turf.  I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with To Tell The Truth (#1) and Hariolus (#2).

In race 9, Appalachian Trail (#7) seems well meant with Velazquez in the saddle — can upset at 1 1/16 on the turf.  I’m keying in the late double and pick 3 and playing an exacta box with Big Al (#10) and Marl (#3).  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Fast on the inner with rain coming late in the day.  Had a decent day yesterday with 3 winners on top, including my best best in race 6 at 6-1 (also hit the cold exacta and trifecta in the same race).  Unfortunately, I couldn’t string them together so the rolling doubles and pick 3’s were not profitable.

Today, in race 9, a very competitive statebred optional claimer at a mile, Undocumented (#1) gets inside today in a race packed with speed — the pick to post the upset at a decent price.  I’m keying in the late double and pick 3, playing a nice show bet and boxing in the exacta with Run With The Lark (#9) and Pegasion (#6).

In race 5, Four Shore (#3) goes second off a layoff and has some back class — I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with the favored Contessa entry (2/2b).  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Fast and firm at Gulfstream with a difficult card to get your arms around.  In race 9, The Holy Bull, Aikenite (#8) could be Pletcher’s Derby horse, but one mile seems a better distance at this point and he breaks from a good stalking post today.  I’m keying in the late double and playing an exacta box with Winslow Homer (#6) who could be the main speed.

Fast on the inner track at Aqueduct on Saturday.  The inside continues to be best part of the track and speed is still an advantage — although closers improved yesterday.

In race 6, Four Star General (#2) moves to an inside post and can stay close to a fast past and wear down the leaders in the stretch.  I’m keying in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Kickapoo (#3) and Fast Draw (#5).
