Life Is A “Cabaret” In The Slop At Belmont (9/27)

Sep 27th, 2009 | By mircon1 | Category: Belmont, Today’s Picks

Raining and sloppy with no turf at Belmont on Sunday.  However, despite some scratches, the races are competitive and there is money to be made.  Hope to do better than I did on Saturday’s difficult card where I listed only 4 winners, two on top and my exacta boxes just failed to deliver.

In race 3, The Commemorate, Cabaret Cowboy (#4) drops into an easier spot from his last grade 2 and loves an off track. I’m keying in all my doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Ju Jitsu Jax (#5).

In race 10, Al’s Deputy (#14) towers over these on paper and should win easily in this off the turf sprint.  I’m keying him in all doubles and pick 3’s and playing an exacta box with Papa Jerry (#10)  Here’s the entire card and good luck!

Race 1: 6 and 3

Race 2: 4 and 1

Race 3: 4 (Best Bet) and 5

Race 4: 6 and 5

Race 5: 10 and 11

Race 6: 10, 11 and 4X

Race 7: 5 and 2

Race 8: 6 and 1A

Race 9: 4 and 5

Race 10: 14 and 10
