Belmont Recap — Changing My Betting Strategy (9/20)
Sep 21st, 2009 | By mircon1 | Category: Belmont, Today’s PicksI’ve been analyzing my picks at Belmont over the last several cards and it seems obvious we are not in Saratoga anymore. My winning percentage is much higher, but my doubles, pick 3’s and exacta boxes are doing ok but not like The Spa.
Sunday was a perfect example. Listed 5 winners, only two on top, but had a 5-1 shot and and 5-2 shot which gave me a flat bet profit of $1.20 on the day. Listed a nice $41 double in races 3 and 4 and a small double in races 6 and 7, but couldn’t string three together to collect on a pick 3. Only hit one exacta box out of 5, which was also a losing proposition. Let’s see how it goes next weekend when I’m back! Have a good week!
