Muddy and good after overnight rains at Monmouth.  Races 4 and 8 have been taken off the turf.  In the race 9, The Spruce Fir Handicap, Talkin About Love (#6) looks to be in a good spot to win.  It’s her 3rd start off a layoff, she loves Monmouth and has a good pace to run at so she should get the job done.  I’m keying her in doubles and pick 3’s, plus playing an exacta box with American Romance (#1).  Here’s the entire card and good luck!
