Off to a “good” start at Monmouth as both the main track and turf c0urses are listed good.  In the 9th race, The Boiling Springs, Blind Date (#8) is looking pretty good to me!  I’ll use her in exactas with My Magic Moment (#3) and in doubles and pick 3’s.  Here’s the whole card and good luck!

Well the rains came and forced a cancellation of the last race, but it didn’t dampen my handicapping spirits on Friday at Belmont.  Listed 5 winners out of 8 races, two on top, including a 10-1 shot in the second race and cold $45 exacta.  Also listed doubles in races 6-8 and a nice $186 pick 3.  Too bad my best bet in the 8th failed to fire, but I’m happy with a flat bet profit of $9 with only two winners on top.

Fast and good at Belmont today with all the races remaining on the turf.  Assuming there isn’t a monsoon later, let’s focus on the last two races on the turf.

In the 8th race, The Perfect Sting, let’s key Fast Tigress (#8) in the first leg of the double.  Even though it’s a wide open race, John Kimmel’s filly may have a class edge on these and may get a decent pace to run at.  Play her in exactas also with La Rocca (#3),  Strike The Bell (#6) and Dame Ellen (#2).

In the 9th race, a very competitive 7 furlong turf sprint, Smart Enuf (#9) may be the smart bet.  David Donk’s horses are all running well on the turf and this is the second start off a long layoff which has been a good angle in the past.  Use him in doubles and in exactas with Tobruk (#5) , a very consistent horse who always runs well.  Here’s the whole card and good luck!

Well, it’s not really looking good with a wet track and no turf racing.  But in the 4th race, The Mike Lee, Lookin At Her (#1) may upset at a price.  This son of Hook and Ladder, is 2 for 2 on wet tracks and may be the controlling speed.  Expect Cornelio Velasquez to send hard and try to wire them.  I’m keying him with Slevin (#3) and the likely favorite, Legal Consent (#6), in exactas.  Also singling in doubles and pick 3’s.  Here’e the whole card and good luck!
