Once again I had my moments at both Belmont & Churchill yesterday.  Here are some highlights:

Belmont: 6 winners , 3 on top, two cold exactas in races 5 and 7, doubles in races 5&6 and 6&7, plus a $47 pick three in races 5-7.  Also listed Sneaky Girl (#4) in race 8, who ran second at a big price.

Churchill: 5 winners, 2 on top, double in races 3 and 4.

Not a great card with many scratches and no turf.  I’ll give it a shot anyway!  Here are my picks and good luck!

Fast and firm at Churchill.  In the 6th race today, I love Princess Westly (#6). In a race loaded with speed, this Dale Romans mare will be closing stoutly and should get the job done at a decent price.  I’m keying her in all my doubles and pick threes and using Fancy Footsteps (#7) in an exacta box.  Here’s the whole card — good luck!

Fast and firm at Belmont on Memorial Day.  Today is my favorite race of the year, The Metropolitan Handicap (Race 10).  But the scratch of Mr. Fantasy, may change the complexion of the race.  Bribon (#10) is my pick.  He loves Belmont and can stay close enough to a moderate pace and gain ground to be a major factor.  He will have to be close because the pace picture got slower with the scratch of Mr. Fantasy.  I’ll play Bribon to win and use him up and down with Driven By Success (#12), who will be the main speed, and Smooth Air (#2), who might find a mile to his liking!  Here’s the entire card — good luck!
