Which 3-year olds can have still an impact on the Triple Crown, the Travers and other big races later this year?  Maybe one of the contenders from Saturday’s Peter Pan can step up to the plate.

I’m high on Charitable Man, a lightly raced son of Lemon Drop Kid, trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, who had a rough trip in the Blue Grass and may like the one-turn trip at Belmont.  A wet track won’t be a problem either.  Play him and Imperial Council on top in exactas and doubles.  Stay away from Hello Broadway who has burned way too much money to trust.  Good luck!

Tough day to be betting Belmont.  Recent rains have forced all turf races to the main track and abundant scratches have left many of the races unplayable.  Oh well, here are my picks.  Pay particular attention to the first race where Cool The Economy (#5) should win in the 4 horse field, but at 1-5, I’m taking a shot with She’s Achance(#7), who may get a dream trip if Fashion Queen runs with the favorite early.  Good luck!
