Feeling “Charitable” For Peter Pan
May 8th, 2009 | By mircon1 | Category: BelmontWhich 3-year olds can have still an impact on the Triple Crown, the Travers and other big races later this year? Maybe one of the contenders from Saturday’s Peter Pan can step up to the plate.
I’m high on Charitable Man, a lightly raced son of Lemon Drop Kid, trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, who had a rough trip in the Blue Grass and may like the one-turn trip at Belmont. A wet track won’t be a problem either. Play him and Imperial Council on top in exactas and doubles. Stay away from Hello Broadway who has burned way too much money to trust. Good luck!
